SolusVM Solus Virtual Manager (SolusVM) is a powerful GUI based VPS management system with full OpenVZ, Xen Paravirtualization and Xen HVM support. SolusVM allows you and your clients to manage a VPS cluster with security & ease.
Requirements
SolusVM requires the following specification:
CentOS 5+ based linux operating system
At least one external IP address
OpenVZ – Ensure you have the correct partition requirements
Xen – Ensure you have the correct partition requirements
Notes:
You CANNOT Install a SolusVM Master on a Xen Virtualized Slave, It has to be on a None Virtualized Server – A VPS is Perfect
Installing a Master
wget http://soluslabs.com/installers/solusvm/install
chmod 755 install
./install
You will now be presented with the following menu as illustrated below:
1.Install SolusVM Master (GUI – only 1 per cluster)
2.Install SolusVM Slave
3.Install SolusVM Backup Server
4.Install SolusVM DNS Server
Select option 1
You will now be presented with the next menu as illustrated below:
1.Start Master Install (openVZ)
2.Start Master Install (No Virtualiztion)
If you need to install a master that will host virtual servers, select option 1
The install will now do it’s work.
Remembering to disable SELinux as required.
Once installed got over use you can access SlousVM in following ways
Admin area:
http://myipaddress:5353/admincp/
https://myipaddress:5656/admincp
Username: vpsadmin
Password: vpsadmin
In-order to get into client area. You need to create a client account.
Client area:
http://myipaddress:5353
https://myipaddress:5656
Username:testing
Password:testing
